D is For Duplicate

The other day while I was visiting one of my friends home I found a beautiful plant with lot of lovely and attractive flowers in it at the living room.  I was so attracted to it and moved close to the plant to touch the leaves and smell the flowers.  Suddenly I realized that it was not an original plant.  Yes, that was a duplicate one.   But no one will tell that is a duplicate one unless he goes close to it.

Yes, we are living in a world of duplicate things.  Everything duplicate available in the market, especially in India duplicate things will be available in plenty in every nook and corner of the country.  Any top class companies duplicate product, just a look alike product is available here in India

Suddenly my thoughts went towards the people around, yes, there are duplicate people too we can see in this world.   I mean to say that, outwardly a person looks like a very pious, simple and loving person.  But if you move closer to him we will understand that he is just opposite in all these qualities.

Duplicate items are cheaply available in the market so naturally many go after it.  But alas in the later stage they come to know that it was a duplicate one.  Even in Christendom, I mean in Christian faith there are duplicate things and people.  People are more and more interested in such things and people.  May be due the cheap availability or financial crisis people opt for such things.  But here is a CAUTION:  Just for a cheaper one or an easy one you may be cheated at a later stage and you will be missing the greatest and blessed one forever.

As I said,  'In the Christendom there are duplicate Christians, duplicate healing, miracle, duplicate or fake tongues, duplicate Christian gatherings, faith and belief.  At one look,  as mentioned in the  above story of the beautiful plant, one cannot recognize which is duplicate and which is real.  So be careful ! , people come to you with great promises and prosperities and other financial offerings.  But be sure to check closely and move cautiously before taking a final decision.

These days many false prophets are on the run to trap you in their net.  So be careful otherwise in a later stage you may be get cheated.

Be a  guard for yourself  by seriously looking into the Word of God and meditating upon it.  The Word of God reveals you what is true and what is false.  Check out for the original and true faith and belief, that will surely lead you to real joy and happiness.

Yes the eternal joy.

May  God bless you to take a right decision when you face with such dilemma.

When I was thinking about the next word for the A to Z Blog Challenge which starts with a big "I".  My thoughts went on and on and on with many words, but suddenly it stopped at the word "INDIA" Yes, my own nation topped the list.  A beautiful country in the universe, we call it MOTHER INDIA. 

My memories went back to my childhood days.  In school we start our days with the following pledge which I still remember and sometimes whisper too.  Yes, it still lingers in our minds and on our lips.

Here is the pledge we make every day in the morning along with the morning prayer.  Yes we start our school day with this pledge.  It still continues in all the Indian schools.

India is my country
All Indians are my Brothers and Sisters
I love my country
And I shall always strive to be
a loyal and worthy citizen of it.
To my country and my people
I pledge my devotion
May God grant her peace and prosperity. 

But Alas! 

Today, When I look around,  this concept is totally changed

and many look at each other in a different outlook.

The golden old days are gone forever!

politics and politicians polluted the system

and they created a kind of enmity

within ourselves to

fatten their vote banks/pockets. 

Alas!!! 

The journey goes on!!!

ചിത്തരോഗി (Mental Patient)

                                                                                                                              ഒരു 

സുപ്രസിദ്ധ ചിത്തരോഗ ഡോക്ടര്‍ ശിശുപാലന്റെ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ഒരാഴ്ച  മുന്‍പാണ് ഒരു മദ്ധ്യവയസ്കയെ നാട്ടുകാര്‍ അഡമിറ്റാക്കിയത്.

പ്രഥമ  പരിശോധനയില്‍  നിന്നും  രോഗിക്ക് എടുത്തു പറയത്തക്ക അസുഖങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നും തന്നെ ഉള്ളതായി കാണാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

രോഗിയുടെ പരാതി ഒന്ന് മാത്രം. എപ്പോഴും തന്റെ കാതുകളില്‍ 'കള്ളന്‍ കള്ളന്‍' എന്ന ഒരു ശബ്ദം ഉച്ചത്തില്‍ മുഴങ്ങി കേള്‍ക്കുന്നു. 

അത് രോഗിയുടെ കാതുകളെ പൊട്ടിക്കുമാറുച്ചത്തിലാണെന്നും രോഗി പറയുന്നുണ്ട്.  ഡോക്ടര്‍ ശിശുപാലന്‍ ഒരാഴ്ച  കൊണ്ട് പലവിധ ചികിത്സകള്‍ നടത്തി നോക്കിയെങ്കിലും ഫലം പരാജയം.

രോഗിയുടെ കേസ് ഹിസ്ടറി  പഠിച്ചതില്‍ നിന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞത്, സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ  ലബ്ദി സമയത്താണ്  കഥാപാത്രം (രോഗി) മധുരപ്പതിനേഴിനോടടുത്തത്‌.  അക്കാലങ്ങളില്‍ തികച്ചും ഉന്മേഷവതിയും പറയത്തക്ക അസുഖങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാത്തവളും ആയിരുന്നു അവര്‍.  എന്നാല്‍ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ ലബ്ദിക്കു ശേഷം മൂന്നു നാല് വര്‍ഷം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍  അവരുടെ  ചെവികള്‍ക്ക് ഭാരം വര്‍ധിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ തോന്നിത്തുടങ്ങി. തുടര്‍ന്ന് കാച്ചിയ എണ്ണ,  ആട്ടിന്‍ മൂത്രം, ഹൈഡ്ര ജന്‍ പെറോക്സൈഡ തുടങ്ങി പലതും പ്രയോഗിച്ചു നോക്കി തല്‍ഫലമോ എന്തോ അപ്പോള്‍ അല്‍പ്പം ഭാരം കുറയുന്നതുപോലെ തോന്നുമായിരുന്നു, അന്ന് അതുകൊണ്ട് അതത്ര കാര്യമാക്കിയിരുന്നില്ലന്നും രോഗി പറയുകയുണ്ടായി.

വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ ചിലത് കടന്നു പോയി 1960 ലോ മറ്റോ ആണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു  ചെവിക്കുള്ളില്‍ കള്ളന്‍ കള്ളന്‍  എന്നൊരു മൃദു ധ്വനി കേള്‍ക്കുകുവാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി, അന്നത് തികച്ചും സംഗീതാത്മകമായിട്ടേ തോന്നിയുള്ളൂ.കാലം കടന്നു പോയതോടെ 'കള്ളന്‍ കള്ളന്‍' ശബ്ദം സഹിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയാത്ത വിധം ഉച്ചത്തിലായി മാറുകയാനുണ്ടായത്.  രാപ്പകലില്ലാതെ ഇന്ന് ആ ശബ്ദം  രോഗിയുടെ കാതില്‍ മുഴങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. 

രോഗി ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരിയോ, ചിത്രകാരിയോ, ഒരു ബുദ്ധിജീവിയോ ആയിരുന്നില്ല.  മറിച്ചു എഴുത്തും വായനയും  നല്ലവണ്ണം വശമാക്കിയ ഒരു സാധാരണക്കാരിയും, സാധുവും ആയിരുന്നു അവര്‍.

ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ വളരെ വിഷാദം നിറഞ്ഞ മുഖത്തോടെ 'പിടിക്കൂ പിടിക്കൂ' എന്നും വിളിച്ചു പറയുന്നുണ്ട്.

സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരത്തില്‍ അവരുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കളും പങ്കെടുത്തു അറസ്റ്റു വരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.  എന്നാല്‍ അതിന്റെ പേരില്‍ ഒന്നും പിടിച്ചു പറ്റാന്‍ നാളിതുവരെ അവര്‍ പരിശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല.

അസഹ്യമായ 'കള്ളന്‍ കള്ളന്‍' ശബ്ദം അവരെ അലട്ടുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും, ദിനപ്പത്രം പതിവായി വായിക്കുകയും ദിനംപ്രതി നടക്കുന്ന സംഭവങ്ങള്‍ വിലയിരുത്തുകയും അതേപ്പറ്റി ചിന്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു അവര്‍.

ഈ ശബ്ദം ഇങ്ങനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാല്‍ താമസം വിനാ അവരുടെ കാതുകളുടെ ഡയഫ്രം പൊട്ടി പ്പോകുമെന്നായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ ഉറച്ച വിശ്വാസം.

നാട്ടിലും, പുറം നാട്ടിലും ഒരു പോലെ പ്രസിദ്ധനായ ചിത്തരോഗ വിദദ്ധന്‍ ശിശുപാലന്‍ പല അടവുകളും പയറ്റി നോക്കിയെങ്കിലും ശബ്ദം വര്‍ദ്ധിച്ചു വന്നതല്ലാതെ കുറഞ്ഞില്ല  

ശിശുപാലന്‍ ഒടുവില്‍ ഒരു അറ്റ കൈ തന്നെ പ്രയോഗിക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.

രോഗി കേള്‍ക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദത്തേക്കാള്‍   ഉച്ചത്തില്‍ അതെ ശബ്ദം തന്നെ രോഗിയേക്കൊണ്ട് വിളിപ്പിക്കുക, ഒരു പക്ഷെ അത് അല്‍പ്പം ശമനത്തിനിട   നല്‍കിയേക്കും.  പക്ഷേ, അവിടെയും ശിശുപാലന്‍ പരാജയപ്പെട്ടു.  കാരണം രോഗി പറയുന്നത്, താനെത്ര ഉച്ചത്തില്‍ ശബ്ദിച്ചാലും താന്‍ കേള്‍ക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദ ത്തിന്റെ പകുതി ശബ്ദം പോലും വരില്ലന്നാണ്.  അത്ര ഭീകര ശബ്ദമത്രേ താന്‍ ശ്രവിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്.

ഒടുവില്‍ ശിശുപാലന്‍ രോഗിയുടെ ബന്ധുക്കളെയും അയല്‍ക്കാരേയും വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടി കള്ളന്‍ കള്ളന്‍ എന്ന് ഒരുമിച്ചു അലറി വിളിക്കുവാന്‍ അപേക്ഷിച്ച്.

ശിശുപാലന്റെ പരീക്ഷണം നൂറു ശതമാനവും വിജയിച്ചു.

പുറത്തുനിന്നും വരുന്ന കഠോര ശബ്ദം മൂലം അകത്തെ ശബ്ദത്തിനു വളരെ കുറവ് സംഭവിക്കുന്നതായി രോഗി പറഞ്ഞു.

തന്റെ പരീക്ഷണം വിജയിച്ചെങ്കിലും വളരെ അപ്രായോഗികമായ ഒരു ചികില്‍സാവിധിയായിരുന്നു അത്.

സാധുവായൊരു സ്ത്രീയെ അല്ലങ്കില്‍ അവരുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കളെ (സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ ലബ്ദിക്കായി സധീരം പട പൊരുതിയവര്‍) ഓര്‍ത്തെങ്കിലും എല്ലാവരും ഒത്തു ചേര്‍ന്ന് കള്ളന്‍ കള്ളന്‍ എന്ന് അലമുറയിടുക എന്നൊരു അപേക്ഷ  (പത്രപ്പരസ്യം) ഡോക്ടര്‍ എല്ലാ പത്രങ്ങളിലും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.

പത്രപ്പരസ്യം കണ്ടു നിരവധി മനുഷ്യ സ്നേഹികള്‍ സാധുവായ ആ സ്ത്രീയെ ആ കാര്യത്തില്‍ തങ്ങളാല്‍ ആവതു ചെയ്തു സഹായിക്കാന്‍ മുന്നോട്ടു വന്നു.

സഹായ ഹസ്തം നീട്ടി  മുന്നോട്ടു വന്നവരുടെ ഒരു നീണ്ട നിര തന്നെ ശിശുപാലന്റെ ആശുപത്രിക്ക് 

മുന്നില്‍ പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി.

പ്രീയ വായനക്കാരെ, ദയവായി ചിന്തിക്കുക!

സാധുവായ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ ഇത്തരം ഒരു പ്രതി സന്ധിഘട്ടത്തില്‍ നിന്നും രക്ഷിക്കുക എന്നത് എന്റെയും നിങ്ങളുടേയും കടമ അല്ലെ? ദയവായി വായനക്കാര്‍ എല്ലാവരും ചേര്‍ന്ന് ഒരേ സ്വരത്തില്‍ ഉച്ചത്തില്‍ അലമുറയിട്ടാലും. അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്‌താല്‍ ആ  പെരുംകള്ളനെ  പിടികൂടാന്‍ നിങ്ങളും ഒരു തരത്തില്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുകയായിരിക്കും അത് ആ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരസേനാനിയുടെ കുടുംബ ത്തോട് കാട്ടുന്ന ഒരു വലിയ സഹായമാകും.  നാടിനും നാട്ടാര്‍ക്കുമായി വിദേശികളുമായി മല്ലടിക്കാന്‍ ജീവന്‍ പണയപ്പെടുത്തിയ ആ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമര സേനാനിയുടെ കുടുംബത്തോട്  കാട്ടുന്ന ഒരു വലിയ ദയ ആയിരിക്കും.

നമുക്കെല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും ചേര്‍ന്ന് ആ സ്ത്രീയുടെ ചെവിക്കരികിലെത്തി കള്ളന്‍ കള്ളന്‍ എന്ന് ഉച്ചത്തില്‍ അലമുറയിടാം.

ആ പാവം സ്ത്രീയെ വലിയൊരു വിപത്തില്‍ നിന്നും നമുക്ക് രക്ഷിക്കാം.

ഡോക്ടര്‍ ശിശുപാലനെപ്പോലുള്ള ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ നമ്മുടെ നാടിന്റെ അഭിമാനം തന്നെ.

ആ പുതിയ ചികിത്സാവിധി കണ്ടു പിടിച്ച ഡോക്ടറെ എത്ര പുകഴ്ത്തിയാലും മതിയാവുകയില്ല.

ഡോക്ടര്‍ ശിശുപാലന്‍ നീണാള്‍ വാഴട്ടെ!
