Yes, Yes, Yes, Yahoo search or Google search Your search Ends Here.

We (the A to Z bloggers) are almost at the fag end of this year’s challenge.

Just one more day to go for the celebrations!!!

Today’s letter is Y, and I was in a bit dilemma about this letter.  And I was in search for one and I thought that that should not be yet another post but something worthwhile for my readers.   Suddenly my mind went back to the beginning of the A to Z Challenge.  This year I received the notification from few of my web friends   about the wonderful activities going to start at A to Z Blog challenge (Yet another brainchild of Arlee Bird).

Yes, some activities we come to know through friends but most of the other things we come to know only by our efforts, I mean through our search.

Yes, one way or other we are all searchers for something in this world.  Yes, for finding out something new we do some kind of search, and that process continues.  Few fortunate ones get the right result for their search and other continue their search but do not find it.

This is the sad part of my story here:

Are you in the first group of that fortunate ones or are you in the second group of less fortunate ones?

Let us check it.

I have posted one post in this series on this subject called search.   Yes, one of the famous search engines we all use it in our daily life is Google, especially the writers and bloggers use this quite often.  Google is now a part and parcel of many of the web users, of course this is not the only one, and there a good number of similar search engines in this world or web.  Researchers, students, doctors, engineers, house wives, executives and in fact every one uses these search engines.

As I said in my previous posts, these search machines may make mistakes since it is run by the human mind, and I am sure there will be some kind of drawbacks too.  In some search you may not get the needed or the appropriate one, due to many reasons.  But there is one place you get the appropriate answer to all your searches.

That is at the footsteps of Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior of this world.

Very interesting!

You may ask how can a person search and reach at the feet of Lord Jesus Christ?

Yes, by hearing of  the Word of God one can easily reach at the place.  By hearing the Gospel one can come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and the very purpose of His coming to this earth.   Yes, He came to save the sinners of this world, one who accept Him as his Lord and Savior will find peace and eternity.  (Read John’s Gospel Chapter 3:15 to17).

A Cartoon by the blogger
Ones you find Him your search for truth and life ends there.  One can find solace on this earth at His feet alone.  If one find him he is surely a blessed person, and he will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth its fruits  in its season, its leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper (Psalms 1:11).   Yes, he will flourish like a well grown fruit producing pleasant looking tree.  He will again be a solace to many who come near to him, or come under the shadow of this tree or come in closer contact with Him.

May God help you to end your search at the feet of Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks for your valuable time.

Yours lovingly

Philip Verghese 'Ariel'

X is For XYZ Affair….

XYZ Affair….
A to Z Blog Challenge is fast approaching to the finishing line. Just three more letters to go to find the finishing line.

Today is the turn of the 24th letter in the Alphabet, that is: “X”
Pic. Credit: Wikipedia
The beginning or origin of this letter is very interesting.  The World Encyclopedia says, and I quote:  “It came from a word used by the Semites, who once lived in Syria and Palestine.  They named it samekh,  their word for fish, and adapted an Egyptian hieroglyphic, or picture symbolized to represent  fish.  The Greeks later took the symbol into their alphabet, and used the letter to represent the sound of  ch.  The Romans used the letter to represent the same sound, but changed its shape slightly.”
