I am a freelance writer and an editor of a bi-monthly magazine. Above all a follower of Jesus Christ. Born and brought in Kerala, India, based at Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.

My work has appeared in newspapers, weeklies, magazines and on the web, mainly on Christian religion and the Bible. I was a reporter and contributor for Malayalam weeklies and magazine mostly of Christian publications. I am a regular contributor to the web since 2007.

I translated the books of Dr. Woodrow Kroll, Wesley L Duewell and John MacArthur into the Malayalam language. also blogs about the present political issues, Christian spiritual articles for http://theundergroundsite.com

And within a short span I could make it to the ‘Top Viewed Author Award’ list and could make comments and reviews to the other authors at knol. 1981 ല്‍ മുംബയില്‍ നിന്നും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിരുന്ന സര്‍വ്വ് ദേശി മാസികയില്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച കഥ.


സചിത്ര ലേഖനം തയാറാക്കി അയച്ചു കൊടുക്കന്മെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ടുള്ള പത്രാധിപരുടെ കത്തു കിട്ടിയിട്ട് ആഴ്ചകള്‍ പലതു കടന്നുപോയി. ഓഫീസിലെ തിരക്കേറിയ കൃത്യനിര്‍വഹനതിനിടയില്‍ പത്രധിപരല്ല കുലപത്നിയുടെ ആവലാതികല്‍ക്കുപോലും ചെവികൊടുക്കാതെ കുത്തിക്കുറിപ്പുമായി യന്ത്രം കണക്കെ മുന്നോട്ടു പോകുന്ന തിരക്കുപിടിച്ച ഒരു ജീവിതം.

വേഗത്തില്‍ തയാറായി പടം പിടിക്കാന്‍ ത്രിവേണി സംഗമത്തിലേക്കു പോകുവാന്‍ പടികളിങ്ങുംപോഴാണ് കാക്കിയുടെ നിഴല്‍ ഗയിട്ടില്‍ പതിഞ്ഞത്
കാക്കി നല്‍കിയ'കമ്പി' കീറി നോക്കി
കണ്ണുകളെ വിശ്വസിക്കാന്‍ കഴിഞില്ല. സന്തോഷം കൊണ്ട് അറിയാതെ തുള്ളിപ്പോയി. എന്‍റെ ആനന്ദതുള്ളല്‍ കണ്ട് പരിഭ്രാന്തരായ സുഹൃത്തും കാക്കിയും പരസ്പ്പരം നോക്കി.
'എടോ സഹോദര' ഇതാ നോക്കു എന്‍റെ രജനിയുടെ മറവില്‍ എന്ന നോവല്‍ ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി അവാര്‍ഡ് അടിച്ചെടുത്തു. ടൌണ്‍ ഹാളില്‍ വച്ച് നടക്കുന്ന അവാര്‍ഡുദാന ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാനുള്ള സ്ക്ഷനക്കുരിപ്പ് ആണീ ക്കുറിപ്പ്‌.

തന്നെക്കലാധികം സന്തോഷത്താല്‍ തുള്ളിയ സുഹൃത്ത് സന്തോഷവാര്‍തയുംകൊന്ടെതിയ കാക്കിക്ക് ഒരു കൈമടക്കു കൊടുത്തുവിട്ടു. അഭിനന്നങ്ങേലാല്‍ എന്നെ വീര്‍പ്പുമുട്ടിച്ചു

ഏതായാലും ഇറങ്ങിയതല്ലേ കുറെ പടമെടുത്തിട്ട് മടങ്ങിവരാം എന്നു കരുതി സുഹൃത്തിന്‍റെ മോട്ടോര്ബൈക്കില്‍ ത്രിവേണിയിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചു.

യാത്രാമധ്യേ പെട്ടെന്നായിരുന്നു സുഹൃത്തിന്‍റെ ചോദ്യം
എടോ സഹോദരാ, തന്‍റെ നോവലിന്‍റെ ഉള്ളടക്കം എന്താണ്? ആരുടെ കഥയാണത്? അതെഴുതനുണ്ടായ സാഹചര്യം എന്താണ്?

തോമഷിന്റെ ചോദ്യസര്ങ്ങള്‍, വിസ്ത്രുതമെങ്കിലും കെട്ടുപിണഞ്ഞു കിടന്നിരുന്ന എന്റെ ഭുതാകാലജീവിതത്തിലെക്കെന്നെ
വലിച്ചിഴച്ചു.

'ഒരു വിധത്തില്‍ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ അതെന്റെതന്നെ കുടുംബത്തിന്‍റെ കഥയത്രേ!' ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.

വിവാഹത്തിനുസേഴമുള്ള എന്‍റെ വിചിത്ര ജീവിതം കടലാസുകളില്‍ എഴുതിപ്പിടിപ്പിച്ചായിരുന്നു അസ്വസ്തമാനസ്സിനോരസ്വാസം
കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നത്.

ലോകപ്രസസ്ഥനായ 'സോക്രടീസിന്‍റെ' വഴക്കാളി ഭാര്യയായിരുന്ന സാന്‍ തെഷിയെ വെല്ലുന്ന തരം സ്വഭാവവിസേഷതയുള്ള
ഒരു സ്ത്രിരത്നത്തെപ്പറ്റി ചിന്തിക്കുകകൂടി പ്രയാസം തോന്നുമായിരിക്കാം അല്ലെ? വേണ്ട അത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ഒരുവളാണ് എന്‍റെ ഭാര്യ.
'പാവം സോക്രടീസ്'.

സകലതും ക്ഷമയോടെ സഹിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ക്ഷമയുടെ ഫലം എത്രയോ എടുത്തു പറയാത്തക്കതായിരുന്നു.

ഇരുപതു വര്‍ഷക്കലതിനിടക്ക് ഞാനും പലപ്പോഴും മഹാനായ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ക്ഷമയെക്കുരിച്ച്ചോര്‍ത്തു ശാന്തനാകുകയും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അനുകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ആ നോവലിലെ മാത്യൂസ്‌ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രം ഞാനും രമണി എന്ന കഥാപാത്രം എന്‍റെ പത്നി രജനിയും ആണ്.
അതായതു ഇരുപതു വര്‍ഷത്തിനിടയിലുണ്ടായ സംഭവബഹുലമായ കൊളിലക്കങ്ങുളുടെയും ഇടിമുഴക്കത്തിന്റെയും
തോരാമാരിയുടെയും മദ്ധ്യേ ശാന്തത കൈവരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള
ഒരു ജീവിത കഥ. അതാണ് 'രജനിയുടെ മറവില്‍'. അതില്‍ നിങ്ങളെയും ഒരു കഥാപാത്രമായി ഞാന്‍ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്

മോട്ടോര്‍ ബൈക്കിനെ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലേക്ക് സുഹൃത്ത്‌ നയിച്ചുകൊന്ടെയിരുന്നു. ചിന്തകള്‍ കാടുകയരുവാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി

ഒരു വിധത്തില്‍ തനിക്കു ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ ഒരു ഭാര്യ ഇല്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇതുപോലൊരു പുസ്തകം എഴുതുവാനും അവാര്ടിനര്‍ഹാനകുവാനും കഴിയില്ലായിരുന്നു.

അതോര്‍ത്തപ്പോള്‍ മനസിന്റെയുള്ളില്‍ സന്തോഷം പതഞ്ഞു പൊങ്ങി.

ഓടിചെന്നവളെ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിക്കുവാനും ഒരായിരം ചുംബനങ്ങള്‍ ആ കവിളുകളില്‍ അര്‍പ്പിക്കുവാനുമുള്ള ആവേശം ഇരച്ചുയര്‍ന്നെങ്കിലും പരിസരം ഓര്‍ത്തു സ്വയം ഒതുക്കി.

വീട്ടിലെത്തി വേണ്ടതുപോലെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കാമെന്ന് കരുതി ഇരച്ചു പൊങ്ങിയ ആവെസത്തിനു ശാന്തത കൈവരുത്തി

മോട്ടോര്‍ ബൈക്ക് ഗ്രാമപ്രതെസങ്ങളെ താണ്ടി ത്രിവേണിയെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി മുന്നോട്ടു പാഞ്ഞുകൊന്ടെയിരുന്നു.
എന്‍റെ മനസ്സ് അതിലും വേഗത്തില്‍ വീട്ടിലേക്കും.

മാസികയുടെ ഫൈനല്‍ ടച്ചഅപ് നടത്തി ടെഡ് ലൈനിനു മുന്നേ പ്രസ്സിലേക്ക് അയക്കാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ സംതൃപ്തിയോടെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോകാന്‍, ബസ് കാത്തു നില്‍ക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഖുഇവില്‍ ഞാനും ചേര്‍ന്നു
പെട്ടെന്ന് പുറകില്‍ നിന്നൊരു ബഹളം
പട്ടുക്കോ പട്ടുക്കോ ടോങ്ങ ടോങ്ങ (പിടിക്കൂ പിടിക്കൂ കള്ളെന്‍ കള്ളെന്‍)
തെലുന്ഗില്‍ ആരോ അലറിവിളിച്ചു

ഒരു യുവാവ് പാഞ്ഞു വന്ന ബ്യ്ക്കില്‍ ചാടിക്കയറി ഓടിമറഞ്ഞു
പാവം കുട്ടി! മാലയും കൊണ്ടവര്‍ കടന്നുകളഞ്ഞല്ലോ
കണ്ടു നിന്നവര്‍ സഹതപിച്ചു
പെണ്‍കുട്ടി കഴുത്തിലെ പോരലില്‍ നിന്നൊഴുകി വന്ന ചോര തുടച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഒരു പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ പറഞ്ഞു
സാരമില്ലന്നേ!!
പത്തുമുപ്പതു രൂപ മാത്രം വിലയുള്ള വെറും റോള്‍ഡ് ഗോള്‍ഡ്‌ ചെയ്നായിരുന്നു അത്.
അതു പറയുമ്പോള്‍ കള്ളനെ പറ്റിച്ചതിലുള്ള പരിഹാസം അവളുടെ മുഖത്ത് തെളിഞ്ഞു നിന്നു

    * For a changed climate

The cover story “Global warming... fire?"** and the edit “The UN Copenhagen…”*** (TSI, Dec 14-20) made a serious read. At present, developed countries like US and others are on the top list in gas emissions but their percentage in cutting down the emissions is very low as compared to India and China. We need to think seriously to save our coming generations. We need to take an initiative to control this global phenomenon. If we continued our present life style then we all will get caught in this peril. Global warming is a serious threat to all species on this earth. The scientists have already warned that the world has just 10 years to reverse the surging greenhouse gas emissions otherwise climate change would make this planet uninhabitable. They conclude that unless mankind stabilizes greenhouse gas emissions and start reducing them, it will have little chance of keeping global warming within manageable limits. We seriously need to think and act accordingly to reduce the emissions. We must stop cutting down the trees otherwise they will damage the already perishing flora and fauna of our country. As for creating awareness, schools and colleges can play an important role. Let's pledge to plant more saplings in our surroundings and other places available.

സൃഷ്ടിതവാരെന്നുരക്കുക നീ
മുകളിലാകാശത്തില്‍ സൂര്യനും ചന്ദ്രനും
നക്ഷത്രക്കൂട്ടവും  കാണുന്നില്ലേ
ഇവയുടെയോക്കെയും  പിന്നില്‍
പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചോരത്ഭുതകരമേതു ചൊല്ലുക നീ
സകലതും മനുഷര്‍ക്കായ്‌ യേകിയിട്ടും  മര്‍ത്യര്‍
നാസ്തികരായ്‌ കഷ്ടം നീങ്ങിടുന്നു
മുകളിലാകാശത്തില്‍  പാര്‍പ്പിടം നിര്‍മിക്കാന്‍
കഴുകന്‍മാരെപ്പോല്‍ പറന്നിടുന്നു
വാനരര്‍ തന്‍ വര്‍ഗ്ഗമാന്നെന്നു   സ്വയമോതി
തന്നെയപമാനിക്കുന്നു ചിലര്‍
മനുഷര്‍ക്കയത്രേ  കാല്‍വരിയില്‍
തന്ജീവനര്‍പ്പിച്ചതെന്നോര്‍ക്കുക
തന്നുടെ രക്തം തന്‍ കാല്‍വരിയില്‍
ഊറ്റിമര്‍ത്യര്‍ക്കായ്‌ പാപികള്‍ക്കായ്
ദാഹമോന്നെ തനിക്കിന്നു ല്ലടെന്‍ന്നാല്‍
ദാഹിക്കുന്നിന്നു താനാല്മാക്കള്‍ക്കായ
